Did you know that human resource development (recruitment, retention, training and development) is one of the main pillars of BC's tourism industry growth strategy? Without the right people and strategies in place, our industry can't grow.
As the organization in charge of implementing the Tourism Human Resource Action Plan, we need insight and experience from industry employers and stakeholders to ensure our strategies are in line with industry's needs. As our mandate has grown to include industry apprenticeship training and industry health and safety, there are now more opportunities available to participate including a number of advisory committees, certification evaluators, research projects and career awareness activities.
