At the western and eastern sides of the region you can visit BC’s pristine coastline, rivers, and lakes. To the west lies the Sunshine Coast – a stretch of secluded coastline accessible only by ferry. To the east is Mighty Fraser Country – with the Fraser River winding through the regions cities. Bed and breakfast retreats, hiking, aerial sports, kayaking, and paddling adventures are all activities that visitors to the region can enjoy.
