Securing Accommodations for Your Temporary 2010 Help

Archived Content: This section of the website serves as an archive of the various initiatives as well as human resource information that go2 provided to both employers and job seekers on how to prepare for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

If your temporary help during the 2010 Winter Games comes from out of town, you as an employer may need to assist your staff in getting access to lodgings, since housing, especially in Whistler, will be extremely tight during the Games.

The following is a list of links that may help you in securing accommodations for your temporary 2010 staff:

  1. Tourism British Columbia’s 2010 Destination Planner

  2. Grafton Locations, a BC destination management service company, has access to a variety of 2010 accommodations in Vancouver, Richmond and Whistler at various price points. Please contact Pamela McColl at 604-922-7314 or 604-970-0555.

  3. Craigslist Vacation Rentals by owner

Please note that go2’s objective is to provide a list of options for employers to consider. Individuals are encouraged to conduct thorough research prior to making any arrangements.
