Team 2010 Training Helps Prepare Your Frontline Staff to Welcome the World in 2010

Archived Content: This section of the website serves as an archive of the various initiatives as well as human resource information that go2 provided to both employers and job seekers on how to prepare for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Quality customer service is a key component in creating lasting impressions among BC visitors to the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Those memories will form the basis of BC's tourism reputation for years to come.

Team 2010 Training is a three-hour workshop developed in partnership between WorldHost® Training Services and the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games to inspire, engage and motivate participants to play a part in hosting the most extraordinary Winter Games in history!

WorldHost is also delivering a “Customers With Disabilities” workshop - this half-day workshop promotes a better understanding of the particular needs and expectations of people with disabilities.

WorldHost Training Services (previously SuperHost programs) has been developed by Tourism BC to ensure that key frontline staff are provided with the right mix of training, knowledge and skills to offer customers with memorable guest experience and encourage repeat visits.

To register for a workshop near you, or for more information on WorldHost Training Services, please visit Tourism BC’s website, or contact Brooke Davis at brooke.davis@tourismbc.com or 604-660-3573.
