For the past several months, the main topic of conversations has been the economy. During the economic downturn, companies adjusted their priorities from increasing wages and benefits to compete for talented workers in a red-hot economy, to reducing overheads by implementing hiring freezes or going as far as laying off some staff. It suddenly became the employers’ market due to an increase in the number of job seekers.
