go2 has released a guide to assist employers in better understanding the various programs available to hire foreign workers.
This guide has been updated to include recent amendments to the temporary foreign worker program that are designed to allow employers better and easier access to this program. It includes information on the Expedited Labour Market Opinion programs as well as information on the advertising and recruitment efforts required for both ‘high skilled’ and ‘low skilled’ occupations.
The guide has also been expanded to include information on other programs including the Working Holiday program, Student Work Abroad program, International Student programs and the Provincial Nominee program.
