Personable, experienced part time and on-call tour bus drivers needed for  Vancouver sightseeing tour (season ending soon) and Fall/Winter  charter & special event work. 

Please note:  A valid Class 4 driving license, clean driving record and experience transporting passengers are essential to this position.

As there may be some over the border work, a valid Passport is also an asset.

General Responsibilities: 

• Transporting guests throughout the City of Vancouver and/or Lower Mainland
  
• Pickup / drop off at various downtown hotels and cruise ship terminals 
• Complete vehicle inspections to insure safety, maintenance and operating standards are met
• Other duties as called upon by Manager of Sales & Operations
• Report back to Operations Manager with general feedback and suggestions
• Work as a team with guide to provide an excellent tour / charter experience
• Maintain company standard by maintaining a clean and neat uniform appearance
• The position is strictly driving, no commentary required

Specific Duties:

• Transfer  up to 23 guests on City Adventure Tour and / or specialty charter work.
  
• Shuttle between hotels, sightseeing locations and cruise ship terminals
• Shuttle guests as required based on charter needs - everything from one way airport transfers, to full day Whistler trips.
  
• Load and unload luggage as required
  
• Conduct safety checks/maintenance on vehicle as required
  
• Keeping vehicle interior and exterior clean and neat.
  
• Washing exterior and interior at the end of each shift if required
  
• Disposing of all garbage inside vehicle throughout shift.
  

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to this role 
• Detailed knowledge downtown Vancouver routing and hotel locations is a must
  
• Detailed knowledge of greater Vancouver area and Lower Mainland.
  
• Class 4 license required with clean driving record 
• Proven experience driving 24 passenger mini coaches
• Previous experience and training in the Travel and Tourism industry 
• Strong self-management skills 
• Demonstrated track record as a team player 
• Previous driving related work experience 
• Strong command of English spoken language
