Duties and responsibilities: 

• Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
• Provides guests with complete information about the resort.  Help them choose the right room type and package to fit their needs. 
• Up selling rooms and packages whenever possible. Able to attend to work reliably
• Accurately make dinner reservations as well as spa treatment arrangements for guests
• Able to work safely and securely in a manner that protects the integrity and safety of the guest, associates and hotel

The successful candidate will possess the following skill-set:

• Minimum 2 years of proven hotel front desk, reservations, or sales training experience in a busy full service resort
• Previous sales and up-selling experience
• College hospitality diploma preferred
• Outstanding listening and problem solving skills required
• Computer literacy required
• Previous experience using a Property Management System - preferrably SMS
• Ability to do basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to effectively present information in English to guests
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and take direction well
• Outstanding attention to detail skills
• Proven Safe Work and reliable attendance record required
• Second language is an asset
• Flexible to a changing schedule
