Do you enjoy communicating with others, problem-solving and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment? go2 is looking for a full time Customer Service Representative to join our team.

Primary Function

Working closely with the Program Administrator, the Customer Service Representative is a key front line representative and provides service to both internal and external customers. This position plays a key role in administering Serving It Right and FoodSafe certifications, and performs general front desk reception. 

Job Duties & Tasks

Serving It Right and FoodSafe Customer Service Representative

  • Provide excellent, professional and courteous customer service both in person, on the phone and by email/internet
  • Respond to customer inquiries (by telephone, email and in person), enter data, mark exams, take orders, process payments & refunds, issue certificates, arrange shipping/receiving for Serving It Right and FoodSafe manuals 
  • Keep inventory records for Serving It Right and FoodSafe
  • Other duties as assigned

Reception/Administrative Support

  • Front-line receptionist duties
  • Schedule Board room bookings; arrange Food & Beverage for meetings 
  • Make travel arrangements for staff 
  • Handle all mail & courier
  • Call appropriate supplier for office equipment servicing issues 
  • Ensure adequate toner supplies/stocks for equipment
  • Maintain a neat and tidy supply room with adequate inventory levels of office and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain petty cash float for minor expenses and balance float as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements  

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 and one year of related experience
  • 50 wpm keyboarding skill with a high degree of accuracy, both alpha and numeric
  • Excellent customer service skills and demeanor, including the ability to deal with a variety of customer personalities
  • Excellent knowledge of standard office practices, methods and equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skill and ability to exercise good judgment and initiative
  • Basic mathematical skills
  • Able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Ability to perform cashier duties including Visa and MasterCard transactions, with a high degree of accuracy
