Night Auditor (Part-time)

Harrison Hot Springs Resort & Spa is currently recruiting for the position of Part Time Night Auditor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures compliance with all corporate policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
• Able to accurately balance, post, investigate and correct any inconsistencies relating to night audit
• Able to attend to work reliably, on time and willing to do graveyard hours (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Responsible for all aspects of the front office during the evening / graveyard shift
• Able to work safely and securely in a manner that protects the integrity and safety of the guest, associates and hotel

• Minimum 2 year of proven hotel experience as a night auditor or an accounting clerk in a 300 plus room hotel / resort
• Minimum 1 year front desk experience in a busy hotel / resort environment
• College hospitality diploma from a recognized hospitality / tourism school preferred 
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to up sell and sell other resort facilities
• Very strong accounting skills and knowledge
• Proven previous experience as both an independent worker and as a team player required
• Proven outstanding attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to accurately handle and balance cash, credits and debit card sales
• Computer literacy, especially with databases required
• Independent worker able to work with minimum direction and assistance
• Proven ability to multi-task and take direction well
• Excellent listening and communication skills
• Strong ability to manage time and solve unexpected problems
• Proven Safe Work and reliable attendance record 
• Proven organizational skills required
• Second language is an asset
• Flexible to a changing schedule
• Willing to cross train in other Front Office positions
