Then this is the career opportunity for you! River Rock Casino Resort is looking for a Doorperson to join our team. Under the direction of the Chief Concierge, this position is responsible for greeting guests as they arrive at the front doors to the hotel, offering assistance getting out of the vehicle, calling for valet parking, removing luggage from the vehicle while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.
Other responsibilities include:
- Opens vehicle doors for guests as they arrive or leave and offers assistance
- Calls a Bellperson to assist with luggage or personally assists if Bellperson not available
- Calls for Taxis
- Facilitates valet parking and keeps the driveway clear, if necessary drives the car to a parking space
- Drives a standard transmission vehicle
- Conducts through the front doors into the Hotel
- Provides guests with information on Resort Activities and makes recommendations for dining, gaming etc.
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
