We are currently recruiting for the position of Adventure Specialist. The Adventure Specialist is the Lodge Concierge, acting as a ‘temporary personal assistant’ arranging for comfortable yet active stays for all our guests. The daily duties include, but are not limited to, being a local travel guide, hosting evening receptions, planning hiking and/or sightseeing trips for our guests and providing them with a customized itinerary with which to experience the Canadian Rockies. The Specialist will have a comprehensive understanding of the area, and have a drive to provide the best service, exceeding guest expectations. The Adventure Specialist will assist the Cathedral Mountain front desk team responsible for guest service and reservations. This position is multi-task orientated, main duties include answering phones, taking reservations, selling rooms, guest service (concierge), assisting the dining room, retail sales, end of day accounting and following check-in /check-out procedures. The Adventure Specialist must maintain a positive team oriented work environment and strong working relationship with the general manager and ownership.
