Echo Valley Ranch & Spa, one of the premier guest ranches and wellness centres in British Columbia, is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing manager based in Vancouver. This position provides an excellent opportunity for someone with sales and marketing experience that has a passion for the great outdoors and wellness with the ability to convey this to the prospective guests! This position will have responsibility for all sales activities including: Work with Director of Sales & Marketing to set realistic monthly and geographic sales targets Achieving monthly sales targets and profits in all geographic and vertical sales segments Initiating sales calls to existing database contacts including end users, travel trade and corporate clients Developing sales leads and making sales calls to potential end users, travel trade and corporate customers Handling sales and reservation inquiries including the preparation and sending out of quotes Customer service for booked guests prior, during and after their stay at the property Making in-market sales calls to agents, wholesalers and corporations on behalf of the property, including follow up (North America), as required Attend trade shows on behalf of the property (North America) and follow up as required Maintain and update the database (Maximizer) Liaise with industry partners to generate bookings for the property Escort site inspection of the property as required Posting relevant social media entries as required Work within the projected Sales & Marketing budget Supervise and motivate one other sales person Produce monthly reports for the Director of Sales & Marketing

Job Requirements
Skills required: Proven track record in hospitality sales Sales management experience Database management experience Good computer and internet skills including social media Excellent oral and written communication skills A passion for the BC outdoors and wellness Time management and multi tasking ability Able to work in a team environment Take initiative with enthusiasm and maintain a positive and professional working attitude

Salary	Commensurate with experience.
