The 2011 BC Tourism Industry Awards will take place on October 25, 2011 at the Victoria Conference Centre. Previously hosted by Tourism BC, the awards are now managed by Tourism Industry Association of BC (TIABC, formerly COTA) in collaboration with the BC Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Innovation.
If you know of a tourism business practicing industry excellence, be sure to nominate them for one of the seven categories:
- Delta Hotels Environmentally Responsible Tourism Award
- Employees First Award
- Sport Tourism Community Legacy Award
- T4G Limited Innovation in Tourism Technology Award
- Tourism Media Award
- Vancouver Sun & Province Best Tourism Marketing Campaign Award
- Worldhost Customer Service Award
Companies or organizations may be self-nominated or may be nominated by other agencies. Previous nominees can resubmit as appropriate.
Winners will be selected by a panel of industry judges and will be honoured at the 12th Annual British Columbia Tourism Industry Awards held during the BC Tourism Industry Conference in Vancouver.
Nomination forms for these awards can be found on the BC Tourism Industry Conference website. Deadline for nominations is Friday, August 26, 2011.
