Hotel Association of Canada's 2011 Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence Now Open for Nomination

Share |

The Hotel Association of Canada (HAC) is now accepting nominations for the 2011 Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence.

Sponsored by the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC), the Human Resources Award recognizes programs that develop a human resources culture that attracts, develops, and retains highly qualified employees resulting in motivated staff who are able to generate new or repeat business, create goodwill among guests, provide special services, reverse negative public relations situations, and effectively resolve guest complaints. The nominee must be a member of HAC and have been actively involved in Canada’s lodging industry for a minimum of five years.

The individual, organization, or property chosen for this award will be recognized at the Awards Luncheon in March 2012 in conjunction with HAC’s Annual Conference in Toronto, Ontario.

The Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence Program also includes the Humanitarian Award, Energy & Environment Award, Outstanding Supplier Award, and the Stephen Phillips Passion for Hospitality Bursary. Information about all the awards, eligibility criteria, and nomination forms are available on the HAC website. Applications must be submitted by Monday, November 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm PST.

The Hotel Association of Canada’s Hall of Fame Awards of Excellence Program was developed in 2004 with the purpose of recognizing those of its members (individuals, companies, properties) that have demonstrated significant accomplishments, exemplary leadership and tireless commitment to Canada’s lodging industry.
