The National Awards for Tourism Excellence, presented by The Globe and Mail, recognize and foster excellence in the Canadian tourism industry. The 2010 award winners will be presented at an awards dinner during Canada's Tourism Leadership Summit in November 2010.
People, places, organizations and events that have gone above and beyond to offer superior tourism experiences to travellers in Canada will be recognized in the following categories:

- Hilton Family of Hotels Canada Business of the Year Award – Multiple Unit
- Delta Hotels & Resorts New Business of the Year Award
- Deloitte Innovator of the Year Award
- Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. Corporate Partner of the Year Award
- Tourism Toronto Travel Media Award
- Via Rail Canada Volunteer of the Year Award
- Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Marketing Campaign of the Year Award
- Metro Toronto Convention Centre Event of the Year Award
- WestJet Online Marketing Campaign of the Year Award
- CTHRC Award for Excellence in Human Resources Development
- InterContinental Hotels Group Employee of the Year
- Parks Canada Sustainable Tourism Award
- National Cultural Tourism Award
The CTHRC Award for Excellence in Human Resources Development honours a business that has clearly demonstrated a commitment to professionalism in the tourism workforce, a commitment shown through professional recognition, training and excellence in human resource management.
