The Kootenay Rockies Tourism HR Strategy Steering Committee has been formed under an agreement with Service Canada to undertake human resources planning and develop strategies to support tourism growth to 2015.
The steering committee is comprised of local business leaders, tourism operators, Kootenay Rockies Association, Ktunaxa Nation, go2, College of the Rockies and Unite Here Canada Local 40 Union. It is chaired by Heather Stewart of Sage Transitions.
