A number of programs let students get an early start or simply explore tourism careers: The Secondary School Apprenticeship (SSA) lets students begin a tourism apprenticeship while still in high school. With this head start, students can be up to 2 years ahead of their peers by graduation. Scholarships are available for some students The Canadian Academy of Travel & Tourism (CATT) gives high school students the opportunity to build the foundation of a tourism career while staying in school.
