go2’s mandate is to support BC’s tourism employers to recruit, retain and train employees to support industry growth. When a potential employee indicates that he or she has been emerit certified, employers should call the go2 office to verify those credentials.
In the past, individuals have falsely claimed certification status to gain employment. This puts a bad mark on our industry and is unfair to individuals and organizations that put their time and money into education and training programs.
