2 Positions Available  May 15 - September 30, 2013

Objective:

Pacific Coach Lines is seeking an individual who is interested in becoming part of their energetic team. Our Customer Service Agents are front line professionals who facilitate the promotion, sales and booking of our Services. Those who work well in a very busy and dynamic environment and like dealing with people will enjoy this position.

Main Duties:

  • Accompany driver on hotel routes to pick up and ticket passengers
  • Offer high quality customer service to both external and internal customers in a positive and professional manner, both in person and over the telephone
  • Answer incoming calls in a call centre environment providing accurate information on our products and services
  • Book and confirm tourism product reservations within various systems
  • Utilize selling and up-selling techniques to promote and reserve tours and packages
  • Handle cash and credit card sales
  • Complete accurate sales reports
  • Respond to fax and email correspondence
  • Perform other projects and duties assigned by management

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Experience (intermediate level) with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the Internet
  • Experience with handling cash and credit card transactions

Assets:

  • Tourism experience and/or post secondary training in tourism management
  • Fluent in English and a second language
  • General knowledge of the Vancouver, Whistler and Victoria tourism industry
  • Previous customer service and sales experience
