On The Go - HR News 2 Talk About April 2010
go2
Message From go2.

After more than seven years of planning and six weeks of fun and excitement, it’s hard to believe that the 2010 Olympics and Paralympics are over. What an experience!

VANOC’s vision of touching the soul of the nation was a resounding success. The Games certainly touched the soul of each and every one of us at go2 and we have been inspired and energized by having the privilege of participating in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. We will never forget it.

We are particularly proud to be part of an industry that showed the world what gold-medal hospitality really means. This was the result of the thousands of talented, dedicated and passionate employers, employees, students, educators, volunteers, families, tourism associations, government bodies, labour organizations and many other stakeholders who came together to deliver an outstanding visitor experience.

Going forward, the industry will now focus on building on the success of the Games and taking it to the next level to achieve our ambitious goals of growth. The Games experience has proven, without a doubt, that the people in our industry will be a key to our success. This has strengthened our resolve at go2 to work even harder to deliver on the industry’s HR strategy to support these goals.

With glowing hearts indeed.
