On The Go - HR News 2 Talk About July 2010

Message From go2.

Thank you to those that attended our recent AGM. If you were not able to attend, you can download our annual report here. It was rewarding to go through our year in review and remember our activities last fiscal year. The Olympics were definitely a highlight and we were pleased to assist employers with workforce challenges during this time. As our Games legacy, we archived the HR research and information we collected so it can be shared with tourism operators in cities hosting world-class events, such as the Olympic Games, in the future.

In May we were honoured to be invited by People 1st, a UK organization that supports the development of skills and training within hospitality and tourism, to share our knowledge about HR strategies that could assist their industry in leveraging the 2012 Olympic Games and the Ryder Cup in Wales. They have an exciting ride ahead and we wish them all of the best!
