Although pay is only one of many factors in successfully recruiting and retaining employees, it is always important as an employer to ensure your compensation package is competitive. To help you out in this department, we now have available the newly released 2008 national tourism compensation study.
Working in conjunction with the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council, go2 helped to coordinate BC participation and we are pleased to report employer participation was better than previous studies with 303 BC businesses participating.
A summary article of the BC compensation survey findings will be available shortly, stay tuned to go2hr.ca for updates. Meanwhile, you can find the full report online here.
With the official start of summer, I wish you all a profitable season!
