About Us

Bird’s Eye Cove Farm is a 300 acre working farm and agri-tourism business in the Cowichan Valley of Vancouver Island.  In 2012 we opened the doors to ‘The Barn’; a traditional timber frame event facility.  “The Barn’ also houses our commercial kitchen, washrooms, meeting space and a main gathering hall which has the capacity to seat 150 people.

Our farm raises Scottish Highland Cattle for beef, pigs, chickens for eggs and meat, alongside which we grow vegatables and herbs.  Our commercial kitchen prepares several ready to eat products, from scratch using our produce and meat.  All of this we make available to visitors for purchase through our farm gate store.

All of what we produce is done naturally.  Our meat and vegtables are hormone, pesticide and antibiotic free.  All of our added products such as meat pies, stew and chili are made from scratch using our farm ingrediants.  Our latest addition to the business is a wood fire oven, flat grill and spit; with this we can increase our farm to table offerings.
