For more than 20 years, Gallery Café & Catering has been serving healthy, delicious bistro-style cuisine that’s both local and organic. Located in the Vancouver Art Gallery, our location is both stunning and serene. We offer one of the most beautiful outdoor patios in the city. Enjoy award-winning interior design and classical music in our stunning garden setting, all which are the perfect backdrop for our West Coast and European-inspired dishes

Started in 1994, the Gallery Café & Catering offers a three-faceted service: a bistro-style café, outbound office catering and in-house full service catering for weddings, corporate events and more.

Local is Our Identity

Our food is unapologetically fresh, local and, whenever possible, organic. There isn’t an element of our food that’s premade, we always make every item we serve that day. And, because we focus on local ingredients, we offer a seasonal menu that features new entrees, soups and salads daily.

Because our café is housed in the Vancouver Art Gallery, we offer a stunning ambiance in our café, which seats 60. In addition, we have an expansive terrace/patio that is open during the warmer months and seats 165. Flowers and plants transform the space into a lush urban retreat where you can spend hours relaxing with friends or a book. If you’re on a schedule, our café is a unique destination for a quick lunch, and then you’re on your way!
