Since 1976, Kootenay River Runners has guided thousands of people through the thrilling whitewater of the Kicking Horse River, the pristine Rocky Mountain wilderness of the Kootenay River and the Purcell Mountain Wilderness of Toby Creek. From thrilling whitewater to family and wilderness excursions, we offer river trips to satisfy everyone’s spirit of adventure. The season begins June 1 and ends in mid September. We also offer free camping at our Kicking Horse Basecamp.
