Today you can visit the restored historic town of Barkerville, just minutes away. Try your hand at panning for gold, visit Judge Begbie’s courthouse, and witness history come to life in the dozens of living exhibits. Then, go walking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, or x-country skiing from our front door. Canoe the world famous Bowron Lakes Canoe Circuit in Bowron Lake Provincial Park. Visit Troll Ski Resort only 20 minutes away, or explore the old streets of our village.
