Tourism HR Canada would like to invite you to an upcoming session to define the future skills needed in tourism. They are looking for managers from across the tourism industry with a broad experience of managing a tourism operation to attend a focus group on December 3 and 4 in Vancouver.
This session will contribute towards a multi-year project aiming to develop a comprehensive FUTURE SKILLS FRAMEWORK. This framework will help redress the skills and labour mismatches in tourism, while aiding job seekers, educators and governments in better understanding the skills and competencies employers are looking for.
All costs incurred to attend the session – i.e. travel, accommodation and meal expenses – will be covered by Tourism HR Canada. Details on travel arrangements and how to claim your expenses will be provided prior to the event.
By sharing your knowledge, experience and opinions, you will make a vital contribution in shaping the future direction of tourism skills. You will also have the chance to connect with other tourism professionals.
For additional information about the project, session and your role, see the agenda.
Please RSVP by November 7, by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
