Nelson and Kootenay Lake Seasonal Tourism Workforce Exchange

go2HR and Kootenay Rockies Tourism are pleased to host a tradeshow style event aimed to connect Nelson and Kootenay Lake summer employers with skilled end-of-season winter employees, and students with an interest in working in tourism, culinary arts, and hospitality.

Employers with job openings in the Nelson and Kootenay Lake regions will be showcasing their businesses and promoting their summer opportunities at the event, as well as conducting one-on-one interviews with interested students and job seekers.

Looking for a job?

Looking for a summer job, co-op placement, or seasonal employment to tide you over till next winter? The event is free and only open to students and job seekers who currently work in the tourism and hospitality industry or are enrolled in a post-secondary tourism/hospitality or business-related program. Dress professionally and bring your resume.

You can also drop off your resume at our go2HR booth at the event to have it sent out to other hiring employers in the Kootenay Rockies region.

Looking to recruit for the summer season?

Employers, get a head start on summer hiring and register today! Conduct interviews on-site and connect with post-secondary students and experienced employees who are already working and living within the region.

Summer employers must be actively recruiting and have job openings currently available in the Nelson and Kootenay Lake regions in order to participate in this event.
