This Q&A session, presented by Shift Change with Heat Laliberte will focus on experiences that people from the LGBTQ2I face within kitchen roles. Attendees will also learn about Heat’s personal story from Line Cook, to catering the 2015 and 2018 Olympic games in Rio De Janeiro and Pyeongchang, to following his passion of artisanal butchery by starting his company One Arrow Meats.

Attendees will walk away with an understanding of common experiences faced by LGBTQ2I within kitchen roles and knowledge in how to support a more inclusive workplace.

This session is open to all peoples within the hospitality industry. Regardless of your position, you can educate yourself to help support equity.
