A foundational online course about workplace health and safety within the context of BC’s tourism and hospitality industry. Designed to equip workers with essential health and safety information to help keep themselves and others safe on the job.
We are offering the Foundations of Workplace Safety course for free to educate tourism and hospitality workers about workplace safety.
Entering the workforce for the first time can be intimidating. Statistics show that more than half of workplace accidents involve young or new workers during their first six months on the job. Effective training is key to helping workers understand workplace safety and is the best way to prevent accidents.
Designed specifically for young or new workers, the online Foundations of Workplace Safety course will help you enter the workplace with knowledge and confidence. This course also provides a great refresher for anyone already working in the tourism and hospitality industry.
