Company Overview:

Tesso Management Corp is a company that provides accommodation services in the hospitality management services industry.  Our company has been serving the Greater Vancouver area for several years and we provide accommodation services to international visitors, hosting local events that range from small to large venues, hosting business conferences and providing accommodations to sports teams.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Overview:

As an experienced Accommodation Services Manager, you must possess a high level of knowledge and experience in hotel & hospitality management, business management, strong business acumen and demonstrate strong customer service skills. You must have excellent verbal and written English skills when communicating with team members and guests.  In addition, your other responsibilities are:

  Proactively communicate with counterparts within the company to establish work priorities and procedures;

·         Recruiting, training and supervising of accommodation staff

·         Setting work-shift schedules for staff

·         Develop immediate plans to improve sales, customer count and/or profitability;

·         Manage budgetary ledger for income and expenses, company financial accounts, record keeping and payment logs;

·         Evaluate effectiveness of pricing and promotional strategies;

·         Develop hands-on implementation of promotional calendars, product launches and local marketing strategies;

·         Maintain property listings for accommodations offered;

·         Respond to all correspondence for bookings and general company mail;

·         Identify, plan and execute special events & sponsorships that help the company achieve brand goals;

·         Constantly monitor the competitive environment within the accommodation industry;

·         Proactively research amenities that guests would like to have incorporated into their stays;

·         Work to build the brand of the company;

·         Solicit businesses to create the company’s’ brand awareness and offerings;

·         Provide support on-site for inspections and resolve issues;

·         Order supplies and maintain general inventory;




Position Requirements:

  • Completion of a university degree or diploma in business management, hotel & hospitality management or in a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 – 3 years of experience in hotel & hospitality management, accommodation and/or business management, or a combination of both.
  • Must have strong verbal and written English skills
  • Must have strong computer literacy skills in MS Office – MS Word and Excel programs
  • Intermediate skills in accounting:  preparation of budget reports, creating daily sales reports and maintaining a ledger system for accounting records
  • Must have experience in recruiting, training and co-ordinating schedules for staff
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment and be able to implement a leadership role
  • Ability to perform tasks/assignments with minimal supervision


$30 per hour
