The Assistant Front Office Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office, Bell and Valet team.

Offering long-term career potential and growth, starting salary ranging from $51,000 to $56,000 to start, health benefits and hotel discounts.

ABOUT THE JOB:
>Full-time, year-round.
>40 hours per week working a blend of daytime, evening, weekend and weekday shifts. Must have flexible availability.
>Annual salary starting in the range of $51,000 to $56,000 to start with room for growth based on performance.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

THE PERFECT CANDIDATE:
>1 to 2+ years of experience within guest services is preferred.
>Supervisory experience or a strong desire to grow in a leadership role is an asset.
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; people-oriented with good relationship building skills.
>Positive and optimistic with a friendly attitude; enjoys helping others and jumps in where needed.
>Demonstrated self-starter and highly motivated.
>Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM systems and POS systems. Experience using Maestro PMS software, CASH, Saflok Key Card System is an asset!

DUTIES INCLUDE:
>Assisting the Front Office Manager in all aspects of Front Office operations
>Ensuring that all front-of-house staff provide excellent guest service that meets or exceeds the standards and policies of the hotel.
>In collaboration with Front Office Manager, creating and entering schedules in for employees.
>Motivating Front Office staff members to achieve consistently superior guest service, including training, coaching, and performance reviews.
>Liaising with the Housekeeping and Maintenance Departments to ensure outstanding guest satisfaction.
>Assisting with inventory management and reporting as required.
>Working with Front Office Manager to ensure that budgeted revenues are attained and costs are controlled.
>Assisting the Credit Manager in dealing with guest billing concerns.
