Job Description

At Nk’Mip Cellars, you build the meals our guests remember. You can help create lasting memories by preparing and presenting high quality dishes that are paired with their favourite bottles of Nk’Mip Cellars wine for an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Daily Life includes but not limited to;

Assisting the Winery Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.
Preparation of menu items for service
Take care of daily preparation as assigned by Chef
Cleaning, sanitizing and kitchen upkeep
Assisting with health, safety, and food hygiene best practices
Monitoring portion and waste control
Overseeing maintenance of kitchen equipment and food safety standards


FoodSafe Certified
Must possess a passion for people, wine and the hospitality industry
Detail oriented, multitasking ability and strong work ethic required – both individually and as part of a team
Courteous, friendly, positive attitude
Related training (Red Seal/ITA Certificate) and/or second language an asset, but not required
Able to lift 40lbs and stand for long periods of time
Commitment to a healthy and safe environment for team members and guests
