Food Service Supervisor: Thai Corner Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant located in a beautiful Sidney by the sea on Vancouver Island. Position Title: Food Service Supervisor NOC/TEER 62020
Terms of Employment:
· Full- time – Permanent position
· Wage: $17.50 per hour, for 40 hours per week.
Position available: 1
Job Descriptions / Main Duties:
• Establish work schedule
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of kitchen staff
• Oversee and order ingredient and supplies needed at the restaurant
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for cook
• Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Prepare and submit reports
• Assist with menu, budget, and marketing plan

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Skill / Experience Requirements:
Experience : 2 years of work experience in supervising role
Education : Completion of Secondary(high) School
Completion of post secondary education in related field is an asset
Language : Must have good English communication Skills.
Work Site Environment : Standing for extended periods
