Job Description

This is a contract position which ends on December 31, 2024.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Core Responsibilities:
• Meet and greet internal and external customers at the Information Desk, resolving queries/complaints in a professional and friendly manner, and proactively offer information to add the greatest value possible to the customer experience
• Ensure the Information Desk is always clean, tidy, well-organized and well-stocked with relevant information to ensure that McArthurGlen is positively promoted
• Process McArthurGlen gift card transactions accurately
• Record, coordinate and report relevant information, including lost & found property, rental services, walk-in tourist groups efficiently and accurately
• At all times act in the company’s best interests and in the best interests of those entities which we represent

Requirements:
• Have previous experience in retail or front-line customer service
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
• Able to work independently as well as in a team
• Have strong problem-solving skills
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment
• Have basic knowledge about Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including
evening, weekend and holiday shifts
• Able to work 25-30 hours/week and be available for 4 days a week
• Fluency in Mandarin (verbal) is an asset
