Maple Leaf Adventures, located in Victoria BC, is hiring a Guest Reservations and Support Coordinator to facilitate guest bookings and communications.

Who You Are

You are a warm and thoughtful person with good interpersonal skills and an appreciation of good customer service. Your oral and written communication skills are excellent and you have the ability to organize and explain “how to” information effectively. You are a highly organized person who loves creating and maintaining efficient administrative systems. Detail oriented, you love accuracy and pride yourself on being thorough and analytical in your work. You have strong time management skills and can manage multiple priorities at once. Ideally, you have an understanding and passion for the BC coast and a commitment to green values.

This is a full- time job Monday to Friday, based in our downtown Victoria office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Guest Reservations and Support Coordinator is responsible for facilitating guest bookings and coordinating guest preparation guides and materials, pre- and post-trip communications, and related organizational systems.

Duties include, but aren’t limited to:

– Liaising with current and prospective guests to answer inquiries, take bookings, coordinate pre-trip documentation, and provide trip information
– Creating and maintaining accurate and concise guest pre-trip information materials and communication templates, and updating this information in a variety of systems
– Creating and maintaining organizational systems related to the position, including filing, tracking of data and creating reports, and liaising with other departments as required
– Coordinating small projects related to sales and marketing as required
– Sharing reception duties, including the primary role in answering phone, receiving deliveries, and greeting infrequent walk- ins


– Minimum of 2 years related experience, including administrative tasks (office work) and customer service or instructional writing
– Intermediate ability with Microsoft Excel, Word, or similar

Preference may be given to candidates with:

– Post-secondary education
– Tourism industry experience
– Knowledge and travel experience of the BC coast geography outside of Vancouver and Victoria
– Knowledge of the natural systems and wildlife of the BC or southeast Alaska coast
– Understanding of green business values and demonstrated personal commitment to green values
– Experience using databases


$25 per hour
