The Opportunity

Howe Sound Brewpub serves award-winning ales and lagers fresh from the brewery. Our menu is full of house-made favourites & our chefs focus on freshness & unique flavours cooking with our beer, seasonal produce & local seafood. We are presently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic culinary professional to join our award winning team for the position of Line Cook.

Job Types: Full-time, permanent
Salary: $20.00/hour

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You’ll Do:

· Cook menu items with the support of the kitchen staff.
· Prepare components of each dish on the menu by chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and preparing sauces.
· Report to the Head Chef and follow instructions accordingly.
· Ensure food preparation and storage areas meet health and safety standards.
· Clean prep areas and take care of leftovers.
· Ensure the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.

What You Have:

· 1+ years of experience in the same or a similar role.
· Enthusiastic and committed to guest satisfaction.
· Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Availability to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
· Able to communicate in English.
· Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered.
