Job Description

Crescent Spur Heli-Skiing is a small, owner operated heli-skiing
company, providing heli-ski opportunities for over 35 seasons. We
are located in the remote community of Crescent Spur, nestled
between the Rocky and Cariboo Mountains in Northern BC.,
160km from Prince George.
We host a maximum of 20 guests per week from all over the
world, and pride ourselves on providing a comfortable, clean,
inviting atmosphere at our ranch-style lodge.
Positions are seasonal – running from the late December 2024 to
mid-April 2025.
All team members are provided with meals, individual
accommodation, a staff lounge and kitchen, and access to fitness facilities (when not in use by guests.)

The role of our massage therapist extends beyond the massage table. Mornings involve leading a stretch class before breakfast (starting at 6:45am), followed by assisting with breakfast service and some light laundry duties. A break during the day will allow you to re-energize for scheduled massage appointments once guests arrive back for skiing.

Schedule is 6 days on, 1 day off.

Option for 2 month employment (Mid Feb-Mid April)

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Summary of Responsibilities:
• Provide up to 6 sports/deep tissue massages to guests daily (generally in the afternoon
after skiing and during evenings after dinner)
• Be available to guests for massage during the day if requested
• Work with office staff to set massage schedule based on the fluctuating ski day
• Conduct a comprehensive 30 minute stretch class each morning
• Assist in breakfast service and cleaning
• Laundering of massage linens and assistance with lodge laundry
• Other duties as assigned

Experience Required:
BC Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) preferred, will consider applicants with a minimum 1000 hour course.

Salary/Wage

50/day + massage commission

Other Perks/Benefits

Wage is based on massage commission plus a daily wage for lodge duties + gratuities. Room and board are included at no charge to employees as part of compensation.
