Job Description

We at LoveHR are pleased to be assisting Tourism Kelowna find an outgoing sales and service professional to promote the value proposition for Tourism Kelowna membership and various marketing opportunities to Central Okanagan tourism-related businesses.
The new hire will be customer service-driven and a true people-person who thrives on building relationships and identifying opportunities and solutions that will benefit Tourism Kelowna members and industry stakeholders. This individual will have direct sales experience and a proven track record in developing and implementing strategies to grow membership engagement, as well as a demonstrated ability to meet sales objectives. This position reports directly to the President and CEO.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Additional responsibilities of this role include:
– Onboarding new members and advertisers while continuously supporting existing ones.
– Leading events coordination.
– Contributing to associated website and social media content.
– Identifying new opportunities for earned revenue.
– Updating their CRM system, including tracking and invoicing.
This is a Kelowna-based position due to the emphasis on building local business and industry relationships. However, Tourism Kelowna is a remote-first organization where staff work from home and use the organization’s downtown office space for meetings, collaboration, and project work.

Salary/Wage

55,000-75,000/year
