Job Description

The night auditor and bell position is responsible for overseeing the front desk during the hours of 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, including but not limited to, balancing accounts and attending to guests. A daily checklist needs to be completed while providing a high level of customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Night Auditor:
•Guest services including greeting guests, check-ins and check-outs, answering phones, verifying wake-up calls, and any other guest inquiries that arise.
•Complete the audit checklist to ensure all departments and accounts are balanced and all end-of-day (EOD) tasks are finished.
•Ensure the front desk is organized and stocked while on shift and before the shift ends.
•Counting the front desk float.
•Acting duty manager, handling minor complaints and/or issues.
•Assist security with possible problem rooms, complaints, and/or evictions.
•Facilitate emergency procedures in the event of a fire alarm.
•Submit a daily logout emailed to all pertinent managers of the nights’ events.

•Guest services including greeting guests, directing guests to and providing information about resort amenities, valet parking and parking information, and any other guest inquiries that arise.
•Assist with check-ins and check-outs, answering phones, and the audit checklist as necessary.
•Take, prepare, and deliver overnight room service orders; including the use of the kitchen facilities and equipment, Squirrel point of sale software, cleaning and stocking the room service area at the end of the shift, and removing room service trays from the guest hallways.
•Prepare all room keys for guests arriving the following day.
•Additional guest requests, including but not limited to, luggage help, delivery requests (toiletries, glassware, etc.), minor maintenance and/or technical issues (TV’s and remotes, clogged sinks or toilets, wifi and internet help).
•Complete rounds of the hotel and grounds throughout the shift, in conjunction with security, including floor checks.
