Department: Event Services

Reports to: Manager, Event Operations

We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of our Event Services team, our Parking Attendants ensure all guests entering our parkade receive excellent service.  This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes:

– Safely directing vehicles into and out of the parkade during ingress and egress before and after events at Rogers Arena
– Verifying all vehicles entering the parkade via tickets, parking passes, and guest lists
– Directing vehicles to allocated parking stalls
– Providing exceptional customer service to all season ticket members and guests of Rogers Arena
– Responding to guest issues and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
– Staying up to date on safety and emergency procedures
– Reporting event incidents to Duty Manager as required

Responsibilities & Qualifications

– Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 4:30pm
– Must be able to stand, walk, and ascend stairs for the duration of the shift
– Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to respond promptly and effectively to customer’s needs
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact positively and professionally with a diverse customer base and staff at all levels
– Excellent problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment
– Confident, friendly, approachable, outgoing, team player
– Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2024
– This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
