Position: Reservation Agent
Reports to: Reservation Supervisor, Office Manager & Contact Centre Manager
Employment: Full-Time Seasonal

We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our in-bound contact centre team as Reservation Agents. As a key player, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have the ultimate ski holiday experience at Big White.

Preferred Experience/Skills:
Previous experience in administration, contact centre operations, or hospitality.
Strong customer service orientation with a passion for exceeding guest expectations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with property management software.
Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and promotions.
Effective time management and organizational skills.
Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
Fluency in a second language

Physical Demands:

Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds may be required.

Location: Asher Road Office, Kelowna, BC
*Please note, this position is located at our reservations office in the City of Kelowna, approximately 40 minutes from Big White Ski Resort

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Assist both new and existing customers in planning their dream ski vacation, embodying our Central Reservations One Stop Shop philosophy.
Provide personalized recommendations on accommodation options, special offers, airfare, lift passes, rentals, and lessons.
Handle reservations, modifications, cancellations, and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and webchat.
Build and sell comprehensive packages tailored to each guest’s needs, including accommodation, lifts, lessons, rentals, airfare, and transfers.
Act as a point of contact for stand-alone Ski School sales and registrations.
Stay up-to-date with product offerings, promotions, and resort policies to ensure accurate information is provided to customers.
Collaborate closely with other Central Reservations departments & Ski School operations, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Assist with administrative tasks, including running reports, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Embrace opportunities for continual learning and development, including familiarizing yourself with new products and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service, demonstrating excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
