Number of Available Position(s): 3
Terms of Employment: Full time & permanent, 32-40hrs/week, 8hrs/day.
Wage: $17.00 to $17.50 Hourly

Job Description and Responsibilities:
To provide our guests a clean and comfortable room every day while achieving high standards of cleanliness. Must be a people person and have a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service to all of our guests.
· Performs routine duties in cleaning and servicing of guest rooms and public areas
· Maintain linens, towels and guest supplies in guest rooms
· Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
· Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
· Notifies management of any damage to guest rooms and ensures rooms are made ready for occupancy
· Assists in room inspection of the cleaned guest room
· Submit maintenance requests for repairs and work and safety hazards
· Knowledge of cleaning systems and chemicals
· Follow company health & safety and security procedures
· Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate and address guests needs
· Communicate information to the appropriate hotel personnel on any concerns or issues
· Maintaining the hotels cleaning standards and exceeding standard expectations
· Follow lost and found procedures, bagging and tagging accurately
· Provide exceptional customer service to guests by clearly communicating and resolving challenges to guest satisfaction
· Assisting other departments when necessary and available
· Comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Hampton Inn & Suites Kelowna Airport
· Perform other related duties assigned by the management team
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Skills Requirements:
- Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to prioritize
- Possess a keen eye for detail
- Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use an asset
- Flexible, efficient and punctual
- Able to work independently, or team environment
- Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
- Available to work varied shifts: days, weekends and holidays
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction
Salary/Wage
$17.00 to $17.50 Hourly
