Job Description

The Crystal Lodge is currently looking for a full-time, year-round Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our Sales & Marketing team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previous sales and marketing experience within a hospitality setting and looking to make the next step within their career.
This role focuses on the full sales and marketing cycle, which you will work closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing with.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Your primary responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

Identifying opportunities and implementing marketing/ advertising campaigns, strategies, plans and objectives, including conducting research, planning and organising promotional presentations.
Maintaining and updating promotional calendars to execute the Sales & Marketing plan.
Manage and maintain all of the hotel social media ‘sites’ that include, proprietary website, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube with support as required.
Develop and create compelling and tailored content for each advertising campaign which could include, taking photos, making videos and more for the hotel’s social media and marketing use.
Plan, create, and implement all e-mail marketing deployments promoting the hotel.
Responsible for monthly marketing reports.
Create and enhance branded website(s) SEO through the management and distribution of blogs and newsletters.
Manage Festival and Event sponsorships that maximise opportunities for the hotel.
Ensure that ad campaigns are effective and working in conjunction with revenue need periods.
Develop and maintain all marketing collateral and sales proposals for print, radio, social media, tv campaigns and in-house initiatives.
Schedule and Execute video and photo shoots, as necessary.
When required, support the Reservations team with inbound inquiries.
Support when needed with group process, including creating proposals, contracts, BEO’s, inputting rooming lists, event servicing, contract signing and follow up emails.
Conduct and lead site tours of the hotel as required.
Assist in developing and maintaining effective partnerships with group clients and resort partners (i.e. Tourism Whistler, Vail Resorts).

The ideal candidate for this role will have a passion for marketing and have previous experience either in a marketing setting, or proven experience creating social media/ graphic design/ blogging background. Preference would be also to have experience working in a front desk/ reservations or sales position, however experience in a customer service and/ or sales position would suffice.

We are looking for a positive, energetic, and motivated self-starter who believes in providing true customer service while maximizing revenue opportunities for the hotel. Someone that has excellent time management, communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in complex situations is essential due to the on-going project requirements.

The successful candidate must be proficient in Adobe Suite including Photo Shop, Illustrator, and InDesign, as well as having experience with Google Analytics and MS Office.

Salary/Wage

50,000 - 55,000
