Position: Street Team Ambassador
Department: Event Services
Reports to: Manager, Fan Experience

If you are someone who is passionate about putting smiles on fans’ faces and going above and beyond to deliver WOW moments that last a lifetime, this is the job for you!
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Street team members will work during Vancouver Canucks & Warriors games to deliver exceptional Fan Experiences. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes:
-Participating in bespoke experiences such as in-seat visits to celebrate first games, anniversaries, birthdays, and other special moments!
-Creating a high energy environment in the Fan Corral by playing games, distributing prizes, and asking trivia questions, ensuring an enthusiastic crowd as players make their way onto the ice/turf
-Interacting with fans in and outside Rogers Arena, distributing game-day giveaways and engaging about hockey/lacrosse and the Vancouver Canucks/Warriors teams
-Engaging with fans in our Family Zone through poster making, colouring stations, the step and repeat wall, and other fan programs
-Providing assistance to fans, answering questions and providing directions to key areas, such as points of entry, ticket center, and clubs and restaurants
-Other duties as required
Responsibilities & Qualifications
-Must be at least 19 years of age
-Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:30pm
-Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact professionally with fans
-A team player who rises to a challenge and strives for continuous service excellence
-Fluent in the English language, both verbal and written
-Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2024
-Knowledge of and passion for professional hockey is an asset
