Job Description
Role: Wine Club Supervisor (South Langley)

We stand out as we are unique having two winery locations; South Langley & Naramata Bench. Being a sommelier or oenophile isn’t a requirement, however we do expect our team to be an expert in Township 7 wines. Let’s have fun and enjoy some amazing wines.
Who you are:
You are passionate about wine! You build genuine and authentic connections with all guests and staff, providing exceptional service with every occasion. You foster these relationships because you are an amusing and enthusiastic individual who understands the balance of fun and professionalism in the workplace. Your experience providing high level service is proven with your strong attention to detail, communication and listening traits being your leading skills.
You have exemplary oral and written communication skills and would be effective communicating with club members and VIP guests in person, via phone and email, and have a commitment to providing a high level of customer service. You understand the value of maintaining a CRM system and thrive on sharing your wisdom with your team.
As you appreciate technology, your excitement builds with anticipation in reporting the ecommerce metrics and KPI’s. You have an interest in marketing through social media channels and email marketing. Continuing your education in the world of wine and wine technology is one of your priorities. You are proficient in data management, CRM winery software (Commerce7 preferred), Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel and Outlook), Canva and MailChimp.
You have day-to-day financial management skills, including tracking budget to key performance metrics, and understand the inter-relationship of the metrics. You are a self-motivated, high energy team player with a positive attitude and a professional manner.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary education, a passion for wine, and previous retail or server experience:
In addition, you are:
a natural communicator, able to speak and write in a compelling manner in person, via email, and on Instagram
proficient on [specific computer programs / point of sale system
valid Smart Serve certification
able to work in the tasting room (miniumum 2 days per week)
able to lift 14kg/35 lb wine cases
able to work with minimal supervision
able to work weekends, holidays and the occasional evening
must be able to work in Canada and reside in the Fraser Valley or Lower Mainland.
