The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for assisting in multiple financial activities including assisting with accounts payable duties such as verifying and processing invoices. Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail are essential for this role. 


  • Review, record and accurately process vendor invoices, petty cash, corporate credit card reconciliations in accordance with company policy
  • Assist in preparation of cheque payments for authorized signatory review and sign off
  • Assist in preparation of expense analysis reports on a monthly basis
  • Respond to accounts payable queries from staff and outside vendors in a timely manner
  • Maintain and organize the accounts payable vendor files
  • Assist the accounting team during annual reviews by external auditors
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience with Accounts Payable 
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting, preferred
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Solomon is an asset
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office
