Reporting to the Controller, the Administration and Accounting Clerk will be performing administrative tasks and assist with the Accounts Payable and Inventory record maintenance. This role requires individual who is capable of being involved and accountable.
Answer the door and process visitors in accordance with company policies
Disinfect shared-space items such as front door handles, reception counter etc
Schedule courier pick ups
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Compile invoices for the weekly cheque run
Reconcile accounts payable listing with vendor records ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Record vendor invoices in ERP system
Record inventory transfers in ERP system
File Accounts Payable and Inventory records
Other administrative / accounting duties as required
Engage with members of the public as required to complete reception and administrative duties
Work with staff in other departments as required.
• Enrollment in or completion of an Accounting Diploma and/or previous experience working in an office environment
• Intermediate MS Office skills
• Strong and effective verbal and oral skills
• High degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
• Motivated self-starter
• Positive attitude and team player.
