· Report to the Housekeeping Manager and Front Office Manager
· Arrive on time and groomed appropriately, as per CRMR Employee Guidebook
· Complete Housekeeping, Public area and Bell duties and checklists
· Public area cleaning and sanitizing frequently to include, washrooms, stairwells, hallways, dining areas, floors, windows, decks
· Assist the housekeeping department as required
· Transport guests and luggage by shuttle bus to and from the Main Lodge if necessary
· Assist with delivering luggage to guest rooms
· Provide guests with information about service facilities, the area, and local attractions
· Deliver special requests to guest rooms such as wood, room service, wine
· Assist the Conference team with set-up and tear-down of functions
· Respond to fire alarms occurring on property and giving status updates to the Front Desk
· Must be fully trained in emergency procedures as they relate to the Lodge
· Assist with cleaning Lodge vehicles, Bell hut
Communicate with other departments and guests in a friendly and professional manner
· Monitor driving habits and adhere to safety rules and road regulations
· Aid with snow-clearing in the winter
· Ensure job specific supplies are always stocked
· May be assigned other duties as required
Positions will begin early April through to at least October 2021 or longer
- Cleaning and sanitizing all the public areas, staff cafeteria
- Cleaning the bell hut
- Cleaning the maintenance guest washroom
- Assist Housekeeping with bags, cleaning rooms, garbage, recycling, laundry bins, stocking shelves
Front Office
- Driving guests and shuttling as required
- Respond to guest room calls
- Input shuttle logs
- Close Hot Tub
Kitchen
- Assist with putting away deliveries
Food & Beverage
- Assist with back duties as outlined by F&B manager
- Assist with pack down/set up of events
Requirements/Experience:
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· A passion for customer service; previous housekeeping and or bell experience is an asset.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record; must be willing to obtain a Class 4 driver’s license.
· Organized and people-focused
· Excellent verbal and written English communication skills required
· Must be willing to work all shifts (AM, PM, and mid-shifts)
· Must be able to work independently and remain calm in the event of an emergency
